Piano Education - Hello and welcome to this site on piano education, which is dedicated to the Self-taught Pianist! Here, I have made an effort to share my knowledge so that you could learn Piano in the right manner. I am not saying the shortest possible time because it is a highly subjective statement and may vary from person to person.

What’s the Aim?
The focus of this site is to give you an idea of what is involved in learning to play the piano. I want you to know the various areas of learning so that you get a clear idea of what is needed of you to learn this instrument. At the same time, I also want you to make use of your inherent strengths so that you enjoy learning to play the piano.

Not a month’s course!
So you want to learn Piano…and that too quickly? One thing you need to be clear is that this is not like learning to swim or learning to ride a bike, where you would be ready in a month’s time. It will definitely take you more time than that. At the same time it is not going to take you ages and neither is it a very difficult instrument to learn. Read on to know more.

My profile!
I have been playing this wonderful instrument for more than ten years now and have enough experience to give guidance to whoever wants to start learning. The only point I want to stress here is that there is no age limit to start learning. You can begin whenever you feel you are ready to learn…and this applies to everything in life.
